Wondrous Words Wednesday is a weekly meme I found over at BermudaOnion’s blog. This meme shares new words that I’ve encountered or spotlight words I enjoy.
Hi everyone! This week’s word is a problem that I very rarely have. Though my youngest daughter is the epitome of this word. I do wonder if there are many bloggers who fall into this category.
Wondrous Word

Definition: Person of few words; brevity of speech
I came across this word on the Express Writers blog while searching for a good word. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, this word originated in the 17th century as pauciloquie.
That’s funny. My daughter is pauciloquy too! Great word.
Isn’t it odd? I have 5 children and only the one holds her words close to the vest. 🙂
A new one on me!
I’m so glad. I try to pick words of the beaten path. 🙂
Cool idea!
Thank you. ?❤️
