Hi there friends! It’s Sunday again, so it is time for another wrap-up for the week. It’s been a busy week this week and I hope you don’t get too bored reading along. Shall we get started?

This Week in Life

We had some pretty good weather this week. It wasn’t too cold and it wasn’t too hot either. We had a bit of rain, but it was a warm rain. It was nice enough to get a few walks in though, so that was nice.

It was a good week in weight loss. I am down 4 pounds from last week making my total so far 22 pounds. I am starting to be able to see some changes. I haven’t been able to take my mother’s ring off for so long that I was worried they would have to cut it off. But, it comes off without much effort now. My clothes are all too big now, so I am having to go through the closet to try to find my smaller clothes. Luckily, I never throw anything away so I still have some. Though, I don’t look any different to anyone else, I can see a difference in how far my stomach sticks out. All in all, I am quite satisfied with how things are going.

I missed a strength training day this week, but I am back on schedule, and I only walked twice. But, my eating is getting better. I am getting the recommended amounts of protein, carbs, and fat each day so I think that helped a lot this week. I am still struggling to get enough water in every day. I hope to meet that goal next week.

My son got his COVID jab on Tuesday so that means everyone in the house has had all of their jabs. It is a weight off my chest that we are all safer now. Also, I said he turned 24 on his birthday, but he really turned 25. The youngest will be 24 on her birthday. Unfortunately, I get their ages messed up all the time. I think it’s a good day when I remember how old I am most days.

This Week in Blogging

I posted six blog posts over the last week. There were four reviews and two memes. I missed posting on Tuesday, breaking a pretty long streak of posting every day. It is disappointing, but I was just too busy to write it up.

My NetGalley shelf grew again, but my ratio went up, so I feel good about that. I finished three gallleys, one of which was a tour book. I added six books to my shelf, two of them are audiobooks. Of course, on of them is the second in the series and I didn’t realize it at the time I selected it, so I now need to read the first book before I can get to that one. My shelf now has 31 books on it, and my goal is to not request any more while reading three. Though, I have requested several more so I may still add to the shelf.

For quick reference, here is the post list from last week.

This Week in Yarn

I didn’t work on any more sand dollar squares last week, so I am still at three to go. My Father’s Day goal is not likely to happen, but it will definitely be finished in time for Dad’s birthday at the end of July.

I did finish that bookmark that I said I was making for Mother’s Day, though, I am remembering right now that Mother’s Day was at the beginning of May, so I must have been delirious last week. But, here is the bookmark for you all to see.

I also whipped up a quick cleaning cloth with my pin loom. It isn’t very pretty but as it is only used for cleaning, it doesn’t need to be.

And I made two greeting cards over the holiday. Though, I am not happy with them so I doubt they will be used except for family.

This Week in Bookmail

I received a great little book called From My Balcony to Yours by Nino Gugunishvili. She kindly offered to send it to me after I saw it on Instagram. This is my second book from Nino. I wrote a review for her first book You Will Have a Black Labrador, which was an awesome read. If you get the chance I urge you to give it a try.

I also won a giveaway from Chick Lit Central last week! I won a copy of Don’t Make Me Turn This Life Around by Camille Pagán and a personalized bookmark from Shauna B Creations. I hope to have some pictures for you in the next round of the Sunday Wrap-Up.

And that’s a wrap. I hope you all have a great week!
