Let’s get started.
Reading on the couch or on the bed?
I prefer to read on the couch, but I do read in bed as well.
Sweet or salty snacks while reading?
I almost never snack while I read real books, but if I were, it would probably be grapes or something easy to eat. However, when I am having a meal or a snack, I always take the opportunity to listen to an audiobook.
Trilogies or quartets?
Trilogies all the way. Quartets are unsuitable to my ordered world tendencies. I can’t explain it, but trilogies are just right, but quartets seem like they are trying to hard.
First person or third person POV?
I enjoy the first person POV.
Night or morning reader?
I read almost exclusively in the afternoon/evening hours. Though, I do read at night as well. I never read in the morning, unless you count 3:00 – 4:00 am morning. I don’t get out of bed until around 2:00 pm and stay up all night.
Libraries or bookstores?
Bookstores are awesome, and I love them. But, if I had to choose I would pick libraries. I live on an extremely tight budget so I don’t usually have the money to spend in a bookstore, but I can go into the library and get whatever I want.
Books that make you laugh or cry?
As odd as it sounds, I prefer books that make me cry. I am an incredibly emotional person and books that can make me cry tend to be my favorites. But, I do love to laugh as well, but I don’t usually enjoy them as much.
Black or white covers?
Black covers. Black is so dramatic, which I love. White is pretty, but you can’t beat a good black cover.
Character driven or plot driven?
Wow, this one is hard. I think I am going to have to go with character driven. If I fall in love with a character, I want to follow them wherever they go.
