Hi everyone!

I found this tag over at For Books Sake while I was skimming through tag posts trying to find a good one for you today. Danni has some great answers over on her blog. You should check those out.

Let’s get started.

A childhood favorite you could read 100 times and still love

This one is the easiest for me. It is definitely The Outsiders by SE Hinton. It was a favorite as a kid, having read it in the fifth grade, oh so long ago. It is still a favorite now and I reread it at least once a year.

A book you DNF but would be willing to give a second chance to

This one has to be The Devil and The Dark Water by Stuart Turton. I read this as part of a The Write Reads gang book club. I didn’t get a chance to finish because I ran out of renews at the library. But, what I read was good, I just didn’t have time to finish.

A newer favorite you would reread

By far, my newest reread favorite would be Amari and the Night Brothers by BB Alston. It was a great book and I will be reading it over and over. I love it better than Harry Potter.

A book you hated and never want to read again

Oh, another easy one. This one is Fifty Shades of Grey by EL James. Not only is it a Twilight rip-off, but it is horrid. I am not one for erotica and this book took it to new depths. I was embarrassed the whole way through.

An author you would reread anything from

Hands down it is Jane Austen. Of course, I’ve read all of her books, but they are all excellent.

A series you want to reread for the fun of it

This one is hard. I have so many series that I adore, but if I had to pick just one it would be the Twilight series. I love it and I reread it frequently.

A book you’ve read but want to listen to the audiobook

I don’t really care for audiobooks as I find it hard to concentrate on the story, but I am trying to branch out and listen to more of them. And the book I would most like to listen to is also Amari and the Night Brothers.

I’m not going to tag anyone, but if you like this one and want to do it, please link back so I can read your answers.

That’s it friends. What are some of your favorite rereads?

  1. I really want to read Amari and the Night Brothers. I ordered it recently and then discovered it was actually a preorder for the paperback and isn’t released for another few months. Oh well it will at least be a nice surprise when it turns up so I will definitely forget that I ordered it by then!
