I took part in the Trope-ical Readathon, on Literary/Historical Fiction, hosted by Jenny and Rob from JenJenReviews. I had so much fun and I completed every Common Challenge but two. I did complete both of the Team Challenges and the Team Book. In addition to the challenges I read 3,465 pages of non challenge books.

With no further ado, here are the books I read for all of the challenges!

Common Challenges

Absent/Dead Parent
War Theme
Small Town
Coming of Age
Dystopia
Blast From the Past
Audiobook
E-Book
Enemies to Lovers/Friends
New Kid
Retelling

Team Books

Team Book (Alternate Selection)
Bookish Themes
Features Historical Figure

And that’s it! Have you read any of these books? Did you participate in the readathon? Tell me what you’ve read.

  1. I read The Selection series ages ago. I remember liking it but not much else. I may need to reread that. Great list!

    1. I only read The Selection because it was a dystopia and ticked that box. I did end up reading the first 3 books but I can’t say I enjoyed them all that much. I feel like the author borrowed too many elements from other dystopias that I’ve enjoyed so much more. I actually listened to these 3 books and the narrator was too whiney for my taste as well.

    1. I loved it! I actually listened to the audio version and the narrator was excellent. The story was very different from what I was expecting. I recommend it. 🙂
