It’s my first WWW Wednesday of 2021! I am so excited for this year and I am ready to get into the new books released soon!
Unfortunately, my hope for the new year is being ripped from me. As I write this post, the Capitol building in my country is under attack from Trumpists. I am sad and even worse, I am afraid. Our supposed leader is inciting violence and this frightens me.
However, I am going to go forward with my hope that this year will get better as time goes on.
Now, on to the WWW Wednesday meme.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme brought to us by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. What do the three W’s stand for? I’m glad you asked. They ask the three What questions of the week:
What book(s) are you currently reading?
What book(s) have you recently finished?
What book(s) are you going to read next?

I read one more chapter this week. I need to make time to read this book because I keep reading all of my gang’s reviews and they loved it. I would love to get this one moved to the recently finished section next week.

I started this chonky novel a few days ago and I am already 80% through. It is extraordinary and I am loving it much more than I thought I would. Sci-fi is not a genre that I read a lot of as I don’t care for it much, but this space opera has me hooked and I am ready to slide right into the next book in the series that is released on January 12, 2021.

I finally finished this NetGalley read. It wasn’t satisfying at all and I am glad to be finished and have this cleared out of my queue. You can see my review for this novel here if you are interested in seeing my full views.

Yes, Your Majesty is the sequel to Jennifer Shore’s Metallic Red. I am very excited to read this one. I wasn’t happy with the ending of Metallic Red so I am very interested in learning how this one picks up that story.

I will be reading this one as part of a Damppebbles blog tour. I enjoy crime procedurals and I am ready to dig into this one. My review will be posted on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.
That’s it for this week. I can’t wait to hear what the rest of you are reading this week. I hope you all have a safe week. For everyone under lockdown due to the pandemic, my thoughts and hugs are with you. Americans, my heart hurts along with yours. See you next week!
I’m definitely going to try that space opera!! Happy New Year! Here’s my post: https://suelbavey.wordpress.com/2021/01/06/www-wednesdays-6th-january-2021/
